MEET VIC VERMEULEN – THE REMARKABLE PATRON OF BARRIER BREAKERS

Don’t be a prisoner of your past, be a pioneer of your future – these are much more than words from the mouth of Victor Vermeulen, it’s the way he lives his life.

Your first contact with Vic will be a memorable experience… He might be confined to one space, but his presence fills the whole room. And, to top it all, he’s a dish! There, right by his side, you will find his mother. Very soon you will know that the apple did not fall far from the tree. This is an exceptional family; they have to be, considering what has happened in their lives…

His whole childhood Vic excelled in everything he did. This made him a very sought-after young man - who would not want a youngster who is both a great scholar and sportsman? Those in the know pipped him not only as a future Protea cricket player, but the captain.

Life was great – until 1992. The nightmare started early in the year when Vic’s father was murdered. Six months later Vic had a diving accident that left him a quadriplegic, and later on his best friend and life-line, his mother, was diagnosed with cancer. How do you cope with all of this, and the financial implications brought about as a result of your new life-style?

Vic knows how. Not only to carry on, but to lead an inspirational and successful life filled with joy, challenges, excitement and achievements. His achievements have not stopped; they’ve only changed direction. He has written a successful book, done some Van Gogh-type paintings, and as a speaker he is brilliant! Already he is considered one of the top motivational speakers in the country. (Contact Vic on 011-792-5971 or 083-222-9471).

FRANCOIS ZIETSMAN – A MAN ON A MISSION

I am planning a huge outreach soon by travelling in a wheelchair from Johannesburg to Cape Town and I need your prayers for the Lord to guide me to the correct connections for organising this fundraise outreach. We can do all things through Christ (Php 4:13)
